Editorial Review
For those who enjoy a touch of Mediterranean in their diet, Zanetti's has a variety of dishes to choose from. There are many well-established cafe-style items on the menu that suit a wide array of diners; Zanetti's aims to provide high quality coffee, service and meals to all who arrive. Lunch-goers are treated to a scrumptious variety of meals, including salt and pepper calamari which is dusted in exotic spices, flash fried and served on a bed of chiffonnade lettuce, aioli and mango coulis - a perfectly light and refreshing dish.
Dinner guests are encourage to start with the delicious Mediterranean vegetable stack which comes brightly layered with grilled eggplant, capsicum and zucchini, topped with semi-dried tomato, ricotta, herb tomato coulis and a parmesan crisp. Or try the very moreish deep-fried camembert - crisp and golden on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside, served with port wine, cranberry sauce, caramelised apple and lavash bread. Moving on to the mains, try the oven-roasted lamb rump, served with a potato and kumera gateaux, grilled asparagus and a rich red wine jus. Or carve into the chicken roulade, a tender breast of chicken filled with preserved lemon and hazelnut paste, served atop a wild mushroom and pine nut risotto with a seeded mustard cream sauce. With dishes as good looking as these, Zanetti's is a refreshing breath of Mediterranean flavours, bringing a diversity not yet seen in this area.
